 Grooveshark: Supporting STC through sponsorship of the Tour de Turtles, Grooveshark was created by three University of Florida undergraduate students who wanted to apply the concept of selling used CDs to the digital realm. The initial business model revolved around the idea that a user could make money by selling his or her music collection to other individuals online. They operate in the Guianas, with our head office located in Suriname. We have 2 satellite offices, one in Guyana and the other in French Guiana.
